The hotel that I am staying at has a casino.  I love pai gow poker, but they do not have it here. I decided that I would try my hand at something new. While I know that the game of roulette is house advantage and can’t be beat, I would like to see how good a strategy I can cook up considering the min and max bets by game.  Foolishly, I went in without a researched plan and played the table game with only $200.  The minimum bet (outside) is $25 and maximum is $500.  I decided to just use the traditional martingale strategy of doubling the bet on loss.  Needless to say, I lost my money pretty quick.  Fortunately, I found the automated table with a $10 minimum outside bet and turned $20 into $80 with the same strategy.  With my renewed confidence (fool’s confidence), I have decided to look into the best strategy I can come up with for these games.
